Show Up

I don’t like this any more than you do

I’m done

I’ve begun to think there might be something wrong with you

Forewarned

I’ll tell you what I’m going to do to get the noise to stop

Now that I am getting used to

Living in your head

And you know the next time

You’re just sitting there

And you’re doing nothing

You had better be dead

What are you waiting for?

For me to say I’m sorry for sitting on my ass?

What are you waiting for?

For me to say I’m sorry that I keep giving up so fast?

Say I didn’t call you

Say I didn’t call you out; you’d still be here, wouldn’t you?

Doesn’t it freak you out to know that you

Can so easily lose the days

And, here I sit and go on lecturing myself

Way to complicate almost everything

What are you waiting for?

For me to say I’m sorry for sitting on my ass?

What are you waiting for?

For me to say I’m sorry that

I keep giving up so fast?

Say I didn’t call you

Say I didn’t call you out;

You’d still be here wouldn’t you?

If you didn’t hear me call you out

iI no one interfered

If someone didn’t wake you up

I know you’d still live here

I have lived my life inside a shell

It’s not big, but it fits my mind well

There’s no place like home, no place like hell
