Our Little Secret

Have you ever seen the world?

You have to kneel down ‘cause it’s so small

Honestly, sometimes it don’t shine bright enough to see at all

Yet, if you follow my finger down

You’ll have a straight line to trace

You’ll see a tiny ball that’s hung with string

That dangles down there in outer space

And no one is watching you and me

Turn the snow on the city by the beach

And we turn all the switches to “freeze”

This is our little secret

No one can know of it

This is our little secret

We cannot ever speak it

Now isn’t this too much fun?

Look out at what we’ve done

While God’s away, the angels play

And make a different sport of the sun

No one is watching you and me

Lift the latches and set all of the birds free

And turn all those leaves to wings

This is our little secret

No one can know of it

This is our little secret

We cannot ever speak it

No one is watching you and me

It’s peaceful; we’ll take a little more please

So, we turn all the switches to “sleep”

This is our little secret

No one can know of it

This is our little secret

We cannot ever speak it

This is our little secret,

Our little secret
