Loving You Another Day

 It's warm inside right here by the fire

And I would love to stay beside you all day long

But I've been looking to the sky hoping for a good sign

Watch it crack right open and sing me a winter song                

I don't know anything at all about tomorrow

So, hold me close, just another minute before I wander

I must go, the air in the mountains filling up in my lungs

Pulling me away, lifting me up

Keep on holding me and giving me another way of loving you another day 

The world's so big, and tugging at my heartstrings

I must have been a bird a long time ago

Yes, I've been looking to the sky and waiting for the right time

Something I have to do

My heart is light; I'm skipping over mountains

The wind tangled in my hair, pulling me along
