"San Francisco's Megan Slankard has more going for her than seems reasonably fair. She's whip smart, funny, a really solid guitar player and then she starts singing and blows the (unfinished) roof off the joint."

Full band Tuesday residency in San Francisco

You know, I've been playing with the same guys in my band basically since I was a kid? We've been playing for almost 10 years together now. I absolutely love these guys; we speak the same musical language. The thing is, we just don't get to play together enough. So this year, we decided to do something about that and start a 5-week residency in San Francisco on Tuesday nights.

We're playing at this really great little club in North Beach called Doc's Lab. We plan on having each night a fun, mostly unique set of originals (new and old) and fun covers. Each show will kick off with one of our dear friends opening the show. The venue is ALL AGES, and TICKETS ARE ONLY $10! We hope to see you there!

Tuesday, April 12th - with Roem Baur

Tuesday, April 19th - with M. the Heir Apparent

Tuesday, April 26th - with Jeff Campbell

Tuesday, May 3rd - with Lisa Azzolino

Tuesday, May 10th - with Beth Marlin

We have met our music video goal!

Thanks to YOU we have fully funded our new music video: "Bones Live Forever"! We are so excited to be working with director Matthew Ward again (you may have seen his work on our last video, "A Token of the Wreckage",) and our amazingly talented crew.

We could not have done this without YOU! It's because of your incredibly generous contributions, that we will be able to make this piece of art. We can't wait to show you what you've helped us create! Stay tuned for a release date!

#boobproject has reached 100,000 views!

KFOG Radio (San Francisco/San Jose) released it's charity single, “Boob Spelled Backwards is Boob” in October 2015 for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The song's lyrics were written by morning co-host Mike “No Name” Nelson’s eight-year-old son, Archer, as a way of coping with the fact that his mom had been diagnosed with breast cancer. Megan is honored to have been able to help write, produce, and engineer this beautiful little tune. If you'd like to donate to Breast Cancer Research, you can do so here!
